Privacy Notice
Last updated: 22 October 2026.
Who we are
This website, vetdxs.com, is run by Veterinary Diagnostic Solutions Ltd ("VetDx", "we", "us"). We are the controller of the personal data described in this notice. You can contact us at info@vetdxs.com.
This notice covers this website only.
What we collect and why
- Contact form. If you send us a message we collect your name, email address and the message you write. We use them to reply to you and to deal with your enquiry. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (answering enquiries from vets and laboratories), or taking steps at your request before a contract.
- Email. If you email us we keep your email address and what you send, for the same purpose and on the same basis.
- Human verification. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. Cloudflare receives technical information such as your IP address and browser details when the form loads. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (keeping the form free of spam and abuse).
- Website hosting. Our hosting provider, Vercel, receives your IP address and details of each request in order to deliver the site and keep it secure. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (running a secure website).
- Analytics and advertising. With your consent only, we use Google Analytics to see how the site is used (pages visited, device type, approximate location) and Google Ads to measure how well our advertising works. Nothing is sent to Google until you accept the relevant cookies. Our lawful basis is consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Videos and guides. Some pages include videos from YouTube and step-by-step guides from Scribe. They load only when you choose to load them, and from that point the provider may collect data and set cookies under its own privacy policy.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the services that help us run the site:
- Mailtrap, which delivers contact form messages to us by email.
- Cloudflare, which provides human verification on the contact form.
- Vercel, which hosts the website.
- Google, for analytics and advertising measurement, if you accept those cookies.
- YouTube and Scribe, if you choose to load their content.
We may also share information where the law requires it. Some of these providers are based outside the UK. Where that applies we rely on the safeguards the UK GDPR allows, such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep your data
We keep contact form messages and emails for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards, unless you become a customer, in which case we keep them as part of that relationship. Analytics and advertising data is kept by Google for the periods set in our Google account. Your cookie choice is stored in your browser for up to a year.
Your rights
Under data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to erase your data or restrict how we use it;
- object to us using your data on the basis of legitimate interests;
- ask for your data in a portable format, where it applies;
- withdraw your consent at any time, using the cookie preferences button on our Cookie notice page.
To use any of these rights, email info@vetdxs.com. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Our Cookie notice explains which cookies the site uses and how to change your choices.
